simplicity and innovation

so, we thought up a totally new idea. with the help of david for the "famous building" and bill for the silhouette /outline idea. flags are apperantly boarding and my last design wasn't anything exciting. i came up with this as an innovated alternative.

i know. they are outragously simple. don't get me wrong, it took me a while to outline those things, tough stuff. i just wanted to show you guys the outlines, and how they came out. now that i have the "hard" work done, tomorrow i intend to give them a little twist. we will see what happens.

here are some of my designer comments on the tee: i decided to take a different angel to the cristo redenor. well, not so much an angel. i let the statue small to include some of the mountain. i liked it, tell me what you think. do you just want the cristo redenor nice and big? and about the korean palace thing, at least you can tell its kinda asian. maybe i can add something to distinguish what country is what. that enough for now though

AWESOME! i love it when people congradulate the buildings idea :D I am very happy XD

Yeah, simple, and sweet, but adding stuff would not make it bad at all, i think you could find a way to add stuff, and even make it better.
I think that part of christo redentor is where it is, it IS on a freakin huge rock, that is part of it's identity, dont take the rock away man, leave it :D

Rock on man.

AHHHHHH!!!! freaking amazing man! Bill's outline idea was excellent. i LOVE the simplicity dude. i have always held to "simple is beautiful". showing some of the rock under the Cristo Redentor is a very good idea, David is exactly right in saying the rock is part of its identity. you talked about giving it a little twist.... i guess i'll have to see how that turns out before i judge it, but i really really like the design as it is right now. there is shocking beauty in it's simple design. i'd buy it and wear it everyday if i could. :P

Sweeeeet!!! I like this idea better than the flag idea. It's so simple but really cool. The outline idea is awesome. And I agree that the Cristo Redentor statue should keep its rock. I guess I agree with David that adding stuff *could* make it better, but it really just depends on what you add, if it looks good or not. Adding stuff could also make the shirt easier to understand for non-CCA people, since most people maybe wouldn't recognize some of the buildings on there.
The only criticism I have of this design is that you should make the Korean building more recognizable, like you said, and more distinguishable from the building to the left of it. It looks a little too close to the Canadian building on the left, but I don't know maybe that's something you wanted.
Also, if you want to put something more on the shirt, you could maybe put outlines of symbols of the countries somewhere, like underneath the building outlines or something. For example, an eagle for the U.S., a maple leaf for Canada, maybe an outline of the inside of the Korean flag for Korea, and something for Brazil (like a corrupt politician :P). Just an idea, I don't know if it would look good or not.
The design how it is now is really good though, so it's just fine if you don't put anything more to it. Great work, man!

i was planning on adding "cuiaba christian academy" or "cca" somewhere along with "2007" - "2008." remember, i still have the back of the shirt.

i had come up with this sweet design but my idiot program decided it didn't want to save my illustration. frustrating. that is why i am taking longer to get the update posted. =/
